
James Ivin
As the Divisional Sustainability Manager Role within Overbury EOS, James is responsible for implementing the sustainability strategy through the business unit.
A large part of his experience has been part of Overbury and Morgan Lovell’s Environmental team, a multi-discipline role consisting of; Primarily supporting internal project teams targeting environmental/wellbeing accreditations (BREEAM, SKA, WELL, LEED, FITWEL, Reset etc), Maintaining the ISO 14001 certification through site audits, general environmental compliance and reviewing legal risks, Writing tender sections for fitout and refurbishment projects and being involved in tender interviews with external clients where required, undertaking Waste Audits and providing environmental support to internal teams where necessary.
James previously worked at GWP Project Services and Dalen/Skansen as a BREEAM and SKA Assessor. He has a 2:1 (with honours) BSc degree in Geography.
James took a career break from Feb ‘24-Aug ‘24 to travel, and when he returned, he took a Sustainability Manager Role with Overbury Major Projects working on JLL 1BG focussing on managing the circular procurement element of the project and incorporating our client’s sustainability strategy and certification goals.
