
Bradley Lord
Team Representative & Chief Communications Officer
Bradley Lord is Team Representative & Chief Communications Officer of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS F1 Team. Bradley, who has over 20 years of experience working in F1, leads the teams responsible for all external and internal communications, along with managing the team’s sustainability endeavours and young driver programme.
Bradley joined the Benetton F1 Team as a trainee Press Officer during his university studies in 2001. The team became the works team for French car manufacturer Renault the following year, and Bradley completed a series of communications roles during the team’s championship-winning seasons before jumping to the ‘other side of the fence’ as an F1 journalist for 2008 and 2009.
After returning to Renault as Head of Communications in 2010, Bradley switched Enstone for Stuttgart and joined Mercedes-Benz Motorsport,
working across F1 and the brand’s DTM programme. Based in Brackley since 2013, he has led Mercedes-Benz’s communications output in F1, DTM and Formula E, working closely with team co-owner and CEO Toto Wolff.
As a member of the senior leadership team, Bradley leads on communications, sustainability and the young driver programme.
He is fluent in English, German, and French, and knows how to say rude words in Italian, Finnish and Greek.
