Steve Meadows
Steve is the Director of Services & Operations for Signify UKI (formerly Philips Lighting), a position he has successfully held for three years.
At Signify Steve has held several leadership roles. He currently is responsible for Engineering Operations and overall Customer Experience, Health & Safety, Proposals and Tenders, Lighting Design, Quality & Compliance, whilst also being Head of Public and Government Affairs. He advocates innovative sustainable solutions like 3D printing and Light-as-a-Service (LaaS), to address customer needs in support of their goals and ambitions. This is combined with a real focus on health and wellbeing, understanding the profound impact of light, upon people but also growth industries such as food production. Prior to his current role, he was Commercial Director and National Sales Leader for Signify in the UK and Ireland. In this role, Steve actively worked with End-User customers across finance, manufacturing, healthcare and higher education, to deliver turn-key projects and life-cycle service solutions under a total cost of ownership model.
Steve has over 17 years of experience in senior roles in the lighting industry. Before joining Signify, Steve held a leadership position with one of the UK's largest electrical distribution companies focused on servicing Facilities Management and End-User organisations in London and the Southeast. He has also held a strategic procurement and sourcing role within a leading UK supermarket.
Born in London, Steve holds a degree from Brunel University in Business Studies and Human Geography.
