Jonathan Visser

With a degree that included studying anthropology to over 13 years’ experience working for the likes of iGuzzini in the UK, to the Zumtobel Group and Glamox in the Netherlands, I’m incredibly interested in how (and why), people utilise spaces and how we can encourage or discourage certain behaviours within the same. Passionate about lighting in general, I’m a member of the Lighting Design core team of the Dutch Institute of Lighting (NSVV) and am particularly concerned with sustainability and what that entails in practice including having presented at LEDucation in 2022 on behalf of the GreenLight Alliance. More recently I’ve been appointed by the Royal Netherlands Standardization Institute to the working group looking at energy usage within buildings with a specific focus on the lighting component. Very keen to share knowledge across borders as it were as well as talking all things light with fellow afficionado’s. I hope to manage both here at Circular Lighting Live!
