Marci Song
New York City and London have been Marci’s professional bases for a diverse international design experience that includes private residences, restaurants, hotels, corporate interiors, museums, retail, and large-scale luxury lifestyle developments, together located throughout the US, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.
Amarasri Songcharoen – Marci Song – has applied her training as an architect to specialist lighting design for the past 20 years. Independently, and as a senior designer with renowned award-winning international lighting consultancies, she has led projects from concept to completion. She has taught a graduate-level architecture studio at her alma mater – Penn Design at the University of Pennsylvania – as well as with the Boston Architectural College, and she was formerly on the Board of Trustees for the UK chapter of Architecture for Humanity.
As SEAM’s founding director, Marci oversees the studio’s international portfolio, spanning from landscape art installations and high-end residences to mixed-use developments. She manages a talented and diverse team of experienced designers from the fields of product and graphic design, lighting, interiors and architecture, together expanding the lighting design division of the studio.
